Richard and Melissa Schlangen are married to the idea that architectural designers should not meet, but exceed a clients' professional expectations. We believe that our success is not dependent upon design skill and construction knowledge alone but as a complete understanding of our client’s constraints, needs and goals, through concise and clear communication.
Richard is an accomplished carpenter and architectural drafter with over 15 years of experience in the building industry. His framing skills and intelligent object experience earned him the opportunity to provide framing plans and schedules for Builder Magazine Show Home of the Year for both 2003 and 2004 while working at Trus Joist, A Weyerhauser Company (now i-Level). He was instrumental in the development of the nations first fully automated floor panelization facility. Richard has also been called upon to provide: preliminary development research, commercial and residential design, design load development, software development and construction administration. Richard is, as he calls himself, a nuts-and-bolts guy. Melissa puts her face on the company as its founder and principal. Her skills in project administration assure accurate, on-time delivery for your project. Melissa's design skills and her ability to fully understand how you live are integral to the success of Parametrik FX. She is currently advancing her career by studying for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification(NCIDQ) exam. To ensure the technological enrichment of our local drafting students, she is a consistent advocate for free licenses to registered students and educators.
With services in Spanish and English, we take a customer friendly approach. We work closely with our clients, from project inception through contract administration and into occupancy.
